The Oceanographic Modeling and Analysis Laboratory is involved in the following areas of research:

		a nested, feature-oriented regional model system (FORMS) for the northeastern continental shelf of the United States;
		a global, coastal, and ocean environmental simulation;
		climate analysis, modeling and prediction;
		concurrent satellite data analysis;
		a real-time oceanographic data and information network.
