Acoustic Signal Processing Laboratory
The Acoustic Signal Processing Laboratory studies the measurement, information content, classification and impact of underwater sound signals. The lab receives funding from the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research. This research encompasses both man-made and marine mammal sounds propagating in underwater acoustic channel.
The Lab is directed by Professor John R. Buck, who holds a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and the School for Marine Science and Technology.
